30 million is a milestone worth celebrating, and it’s also a time for us to look back and reflect upon the journey that has brought us here. There’s no other way to put this – we’re only here today because of you.
You are part of a rapidly expanding universe of creators and listeners – a community making and sharing music, collaborating, and united by a powerful passion that is the love for music.
As we all navigate through uncertainty and difficult circumstances, we’ve seen first-hand how creativity and music play an integral part in our everyday lives. At BandLab, it was always about making music-making even more accessible to everyone. In these strange times, music makers all over the world like you have embraced innovation, especially mobile music creation, to create and share even more music.
Case in point: let’s crunch some numbers real quick. As of today, the BandLab community is creating more than 10 million new tracks per month. That’s more than 300,000 new songs a day. Or about four new songs every second. Those are astronomical figures that we’re still struggling to get used to today.
Since day one, our vision at BandLab has been a world where there are no barriers to creating and sharing your music. No matter your background, your income, your proficiency – music is meant for all, be it as a consumer or a creator. That line between the music creator and listener is fading, and we want to be the driving force empowering this change.
To every single one of you in our 30 million-strong BandLab community – whether you’re a creator, a fan, a professional, or just an aspiring beat maker – the entire BandLab team would like to say a big thank you for joining us on this journey.
