How to music. A tutorial series with In The Band

BandLab Tutorial In The Band How to Music

We’re delighted to collaborate with In The Band to produce a video tutorial series.

Music is and always has been a powerful thing. Music connects people, heals, and has the ability to transform our lives. But not everyone has that same accessibility to what we arguably see as a human right. In underserved neighbourhoods in Los Angeles, a team of dedicated musicians and educators have set themselves up to bring music education to the children in these communities. Meet the nonprofit organization that started life back in 2002 – In The Band.

BandLab’s mission has always been to make music more accessible than ever. Sounds like a perfect match, right?

Our collaboration with In The Band is a video tutorial series that explores the basics of music composition and beat making. Lincoln from In The Band goes through the essentials likes rhythm, understanding melody, chord progressions and more – all while using BandLab as the platform for making music
