BandLab Distribution eliminates the need for all of that. This new feature lets you seamlessly release your original music to top-notch DSPs worldwide in just a few clicks. If you’ve already got a Membership, accessing Distribution to kick off your music releases can be done in two ways: web and mobile. For BandLab web users, navigate to the Services tab, select Digital Distribution, and then click on ‘Create Release’ to start sharing your music. For mobile users, just tap on the star icon in the top right corner of the app feed to access Artist Services and Digital Distribution. Then hit the plus icon to start sharing your tracks.

- Auto-suggested metadata – When uploading multiple tracks, the system now suggests shared metadata to speed up the process and reduce repetitive input.
- Faster track uploads – When creating a release, you can now upload a track directly from your device. Select ‘Add from Library’ if it’s already on BandLab, or ‘Upload from Device’ if it’s on your phone or computer. This makes releasing your music on streaming platforms quicker and easier.
- Cover art approval made easier – We’ve added a new check during the upload process that highlights any issues upfront, so you can make changes before moving forward. If your image is too small, you can now upscale it on the spot. Plus, if there’s text that doesn’t comply with our guidelines, we’ll flag it for you to adjust before it’s sent for review.
- Trends dashboard – Get insights on your performance with data like total streams, unique listeners, and play time, helping you make informed decisions for future releases.
