FREE Unlimited Algorithmic Mastering

The biggest update this month is HUGE news. Now on BandLab every track you create can be mastered using one of our unique presets that you choose to suit your individual tastes. You can use the mastering as you save your tracks, retroactively apply it to your existing tracks, or upload, apply mastering and download your file. You can download your files in both MP3 and WAV, completely free and unlimited for all BandLab users. We want to show the value of mastering and encourage more people to learn about this final ‘polishing’ process. Try mastering at www.bandlab.com/mastering.

8 New Soundbanks

This month we’ve added 8 new Soundbanks for you to use on BandLab. All our sounds are included free for BandLab users, and we work with some of the best engineers globally to ensure amazing quality across the board.

We have integrated new Soundbanks such as Warm Pad a dynamic-volume synth, and Scary Sounds Pad which is full of screams, whispers and creaking doors to create fun tracks for halloween.

Jump into the web Mix Editor to try the new Soundbanks and create something astounding and unique.

Full List: String Pad, Tubular Bells, Growler Bass, Synth Choir, LoFi Piano, Vintage Pad, Warm Pad and Scary Sounds Pad

Loops Update

For those of you using our Loops in the web Mix Editor we’ve changed the look-and-feel to give you more control and flexibility in your work.

Now you can browse the Loops filtering by genre and instrument – looking for dubstep style beats? Filter the loops easily and add your choice to your track.

Available today at www.bandlab.com/mix-editor.

upload

Start Project from File

Now you can directly upload a track to start a New Project. This allows you to use your ‘Projects’ area as a hub and a place to manage your tracks for editing, refining and inviting collaborators to work with you.

This is something our DAW fans have been asking for, so we delivered! We also enabled drag and drop upload on the web Tree View, instantly add a file from your computer as a revision to your tracks.

Upload your back catalogue here.

#Hashtags

Finding music to listen to and be inspired to create with, is the key to becoming an influential creator. We have added hashtags across BandLab on iOS, Android and web. Discover, listen and create with others by finding #s relevant to you. Search for anything from #Jazz to #Trap.

There are many more great features added this month, those on iOS can now start collaborating on a track directly from Chat and Android users can create Shouts offline, meaning you can be data-sensitive and still capture that in-the-moment creativity.

See you all next month for the November features update – watch this space! In the meantime, enjoy BandLab.
