April Contest Winners: Did You Make the Cut?

We want to give people more reasons to make more music. And you all sure answered that call with April’s round of contests!

Shout out to every single one of you who entered our contests and took the time to get your music out there. We’re looking forward to hearing what you come up with this month.

Read on to find out who your winners for April are, and what our judges said about their tracks.

#quaranteam winner

Your #quaranteam champ is Ivan Grozny (Yves)! Our judges said:

It’s surreal! Ivan and Yuriy wake us up from our quarantine to immerse us into the sounds of the Viking era. That soaring bagpipe is a pleasant surprise that just gives you the goosebumps, doesn’t it? What an epic collaboration!

Runners up:

2nd: Pill Clinton + Ceerocc ya bish
3rd: Cierra + Anthony Lampley
4th: Jessica M Wilkes

#foolforyou Winners

Proving that he ain’t no fool, your #foolforyou winner is Jordi Fons! Our judges said:

Jordi made our April Contest Track his own! Beautiful lyrics, beautiful harmonies and a beautiful melody. This man never fails to amaze us!

Runners up:

2nd: Cali Brewed
3rd: Gary
4th: Marley Dubbs

#aprilswitcheroo Winners

Coming out tops for #aprilswitcheroo is Bart! Our judges said:

Bart brings this home by writing the catchiest hooks that even Polyphia would be proud of! Great tones, sick lines, fantastic flow.

Runners up:

2nd: Yuriy Balkanic
3rd: Iceman714
4th: Michele Fortunato

#homecreators Winners

The ultimate #homecreators for April is Pill Clinton! Our judges said:

Micah Lyneé‘s R&B vibes beautifully contrast Pill Clinton’s raw spittin’, bouncing off each other on this well recorded, hard-hitting track. One for the homies hustlin’ on the corner.

Runners up:
2nd: Dylan Mc Crossan
3rd: nick robb
4th: Ruby Royd

Congratulations to all the grand prize winners and all runners-up for their incredible winning entries!
