July is very much upon us and we’ve got some super exciting updates for you. We understand that promoting yourself as an artist and getting better exposure for your music is one of your biggest priorities. We totally get it, why would you want to spend so much time creating music, without being able to share it with your fans? You’ll be happy to hear our developers have been working hard on a bunch of tools that can help you do just that. Here’s a rundown of our latest updates and how you can use them…
Embed Collections & Playlists
Embedding playlists is really simple and our embeddable player will look great on any website, or blog post. Once you’ve created a Collection, simply click share, embed and then copy the embed code for your website. Your fans and followers around the world can now play your music directly from your site.
Improved Sharing Functions
You can now share your musical creations directly to Instagram Stories from your mobile. Click share, select Instagram and then select the Story option. You can add hashtags on Instagram Stories as you would normally, which is going to get your music even more exposure. Why not hashtag your genre, or tag someone you want to collaborate with?
Pinned Posts
Just like pinning posts on Facebook pages, you can now do this on your BandLab account so when people access your profile, you can make sure they hear your best music first. To pin a post, just go the the track you want to pin, click the three dots underneath and select Pin to Top in the drop down menu.
This will be permanent until you decide to switch it to a more recent piece.
