We’re all about mastering this month, having recently sat down with Mike Tucci to hear his words of wisdom on mastering and using our BandLab Mastering presets. And in the spirit of appreciating this elusive craft, we’ve got another surprise up our sleeve: a collaboration with SoundBetter to offer you a massive mixing and mastering opportunity!
Eyes on the prize
One lucky winner will get to win US$500 and – wait for it – your winning track mixed and mastered by Zach Steele, the multi-platinum engineer who’s worked with Travis Scott on Astroworld, and Lil Nas X on his Grammy-winning Montero album. His star-studded clientele also includes Demi Lovato, Trey Songz, 2 Chainz, DVSN, Miguel and many more.
Three runners-up will walk away with US$100 each as well.
How to win?
Here’s what you have to do: fork one of four tracks in this link and create your own unique track to blow our judges away! There are four song genres to choose from: trap, hip hop, R&B and upbeat pop. Pick what you’re best at, and give it all you’ve got! Remember to hashtag #BandLabwithSoundBetter to qualify.
Who can participate?
The #BandLabwithSoundBetter contest is open to everyone worldwide, no exclusions! It runs from 6 May 2022 to 31 May 2022.
