December 2020 BandLab contest winners

December 2020 BandLab contest winners

This is it! The final contest round of 2020 – here are your winners!

What a round it was. From listening to some pretty intense takes on 2020 to some much needed optimism for this brand new year, picking out a winner was almost as wild as the year we’ve left behind!

YouTuber and music maker Eumonik has also picked out the winners of his remix challenge! Make sure you watch his reaction video to the top 4 winners.

We want to thank everyone who have entered our contests, whether you’ve done 20 or just one – thank you for the music, the hustling and all the love.

P.S. As some of you may know already, we’ve taken a short (we promise) break from our monthly contests. But we’re going to back soon, so make sure you’re following us on our social media!

#bye2020 winners

Warning: Explicit Content! These are diss tracks, after all!

The champ for #bye2020 is Killary K in THA BEAT JACKERS! Our judges said:

2020 felt a little like a diss track, so we weren’t surprised by the heat in this contest. “Is Diss You?” is a collab spearheaded by Killary K. A solid beat is complimented by plenty of attitude and even some humor in the form of an infomercial tagline. Seriously, it’s as fun as it is mean.

Runners up:

2nd: ReekSantana
3rd: I. G. S. M. M. 😈
4th: fay + 2 others (ฬเςкєd + Knuckle Nate)

#hope2021 winners

Our winner for #hope2020 is Tesh D! Our judges said:

2020 was a diving coaster of a year from start to finish, but Tesh D and the gang injected some hope into us moving into the new year, reminding ourselves that everything is alright and is actually pretty good despite the global predicament! It’s Alright!

Runners up:

2nd: Cassaronie + Phat Blacc
3rd: Elton Bonadia
4th: fay

#trendsetter winners

Who’s gonna be our #trendsetter for 2021? It’s LURK LEGENDS! Our judges said:

@lurk_legends brings us to a brand new year with his take of his own trendsetting ‘Retromatic Pop’ music with vibe that we can get by any time of the day. Perfect if you’re chilling, taking a break or sipping your favorite drink. Soothing vocal performance with that thumping bass/vibrato guitar gives that retro spark that we all seem to crave these days. Feet Tapping Goodness!

Runners up:

2nd: MACK DOLO
3rd: Gramo
4th: Muśįçal Frækshøw

Congratulations to all the grand prize winners and all runners-up for their incredible winning entries!

Watch this space for future BandLab contests. We’ll be dropping one real soon.
